Can't hear my speakers on my computer........?

I own connected the speakers to my computer and cannot figure out why I can't hear any nouns from them....When i click on sounds and audio devices in control panel it say no audio device. What do you think this could be or how can i fix it?

"No audio device" way that your computer can't see your sound card. You may have need of to reinstall your audio drivers.
Sounds like you requirement to install a sound card. Go to the control panel, and lower than system check the hardware settings. Verify that a sound card is installed.
