computer backing please?

computer backing please?

What you are talking just about are readers for a mixture of memory chips most commonly found in digital cameras or mp3 players. The chips can be removed from the cameras and put into the appropriate slot and the computer will know how to read them directly.

Note that there is such a piece as a "compact flash" micro drive designed to read "compact flash" chips. It would usually have a USB plug on one run out and a slot on the other. However, there are also compact or small "flash micro drives" or in recent times "flash drives" which have no slot but purely a USB plug. These are external memory drives for your computer. You plug them in and you can treat them resembling another hard disk near the benefit that you can also unplug them and take them to another computer.
The slots you are chitchat about are for different flash drive types, a flash drive is a small but usually colossal in size of storage, storage device for pics, mp3's programs, anything!
