If you are looking for a tool to do such, I suggest GParted. It is a live Linux disc. You simply burn the ISO to a disc using something approaching CDBurnerXP Pro (freeware) and use it to boot up your computer. When the system starts up, the partitioner will show up, and you will be able to resize, move, and other functions next to all of the partition on your machine.
Use powerquest divider magic 8 or subsequent.

Its easy and powerfull but its better to vertebrae up ur important background.

U can also use any windows cd

If u dont want to revise ur C drive, you can repartition other drive by using windows disk proprietor.(in XP)

right click on my computer icon, select deal with, then select disk supervisor.Read detail instraction on help.

Again, anything u do beside ur HDD, first back up ur notes.
