Computer Question?

Commit Charge (K)

Memory allocated to programs and the operating system. Because of memory copied to the page file, call virtual memory, the value scheduled under Peak may exceed the maximum physical memory. The worth for Total is the same as that depicted contained by the Page File Usage History graph.

Basically, you want your PHYSICAL MEMORY to be as large as possible, because once your "used" exceeds your "physical" you start swapping (committing to disk) and that slows you down.
