Computer Supports IDE?

I am purchasing a spanking new computer (actually a barebones) and would like to hold on to my hardrives i use now for it.

I know they are both IDE but i am not sure if they will be compatible near this new Motherboard.

The Motherboard say that supports 4 IDE devices and then i go on to say that it supports these hardrive types :

UDMA/33

UDMA/66

UDMA/100

UDMA/133

I enjoy never heard of those earlier... If a motherboard says explicitly supports IDE does that mean adjectives IDE devices?

My hardrives are older but I they are 160Gb and a 75Gb and i do not want to enjoy to buy new ones.

Basically what i am asking is how can i find out if my hardrives are compatible and/or are they compatible?

Please sustain!

Here is the kit i am buying:

Computer Supports IDE?

Yes it will. This unsophisticatedly just tell how your drive connects to your motherboard. The normal is the standard IDE cable. this is of late that ribbon that connects from your motherboard and your hard drive. If you are using 2 easier said than done drives ensure you have them set properly for the slave and master drive. I hope this help.

To be on the safe side, research your rugged drive and see what kind of IDE nouns it is. The UDMA/66

and others are just different ribbon types (basically).
it say ide support 4 so yes your fine , simply remove the raid as you wont obligation it
your hard drives will work on that motherboard. it supports adjectives ide. if your dvd drives are settle also then yes they should work also.
Those are adjectives backwards compatible, which means they will run at the speed of your controller.
