Is nearby a way you can set your computer up to where on earth in a convinced number of hours, it will automatically shut off?

You can't report to you computer to shut off, but you can convey it to hibernate after a certain number of hours. Hibernation is a low power state specifically almost like man off.
To do this travel to the control panel and choose display. Goto the screen depositor tab and then click on power settings. There you will find how to set the number of minutes / hours beforehand shutting off reliable devices and hibernating
