Computer start up?
You do not need to meeting pairs of memory.
This is a common misconception that is to say rooted in the dated RDRAM that was popular for more or less a year.
The only time on newer computers that you entail to match memory is if you want to use them within dual channel mode.
Now that specifically out of the way... Most possible you ended up getting a fruitless stick of memory. Pull the old one out and of late try to run the computer on the new memory.
If it runs fine, put the old-fashioned stuff back within again and try again.
If it does not run at all, you own a bad stick.
If it runs but slowly, rob the new one out and put the feeble one back surrounded by and time the boot sequence. Then put the new one within by itself and time the boot sequence again. Make sure you are not installing programs or making any changes contained by between tests.
If you don't own a matched pair of memory cards, or if you put within another type along side of what you already had within there afterwards that's your problems...
You always win the best result on a memory upgrade when you have the EXACT same type or memory, factory owner, and same size in mbs or gbs...This passageway the memory cards work in musical tones together...otherwise it can create problems...
you probably just call for a larger RAM drive go buy one
download a registry cleaner and run it and see if that help.
Also run your anti-virus and anti-spyware in nontoxic mode and see if there is any spyware/virus cause problems
