I've have two 512mb memory on my computer, they're $45 each, but I have so much problems with them that I have to put my old ones pay for in. They're made by PNY.
Cheap memory cards fruitless for your comp?
Mostly the problems they will explanation is poor performance as you notice...
But I did install once some cheap memory (noname brand) and my mobo burned up! So I say Yes, there's a possibility that cheap memory can overexploit your system...
Now I always install the best I can afford to buy...The cheapest you should buy would be close to Kingston brand...
No,some boards do not like unmistaken chips or you have the wrong run into speed.
maybe ur comp cant touch it.
Ive heard lots stories about PNY one faulty when bought. Try something by kingston or patriot. Also you inevitability to make sure that they are completely compatible near your motherboard. for example, dont put 800 mhz memory in a board that individual supports 533 mhz
What type is your computer? (98, XP, etc.)
PNY is not a bad company and $45 is not cheep for 512MB.
Any channel it can damage if it some how shorts up within the board it might take the board near itself...the performance might not be upto the calmed ratings.
And by the passageway how do u know u have problems next to ur RAM? It can be something else...like the frequency not analogous
