CMOS/GPNV Checksum Bad..... get on?

when booting my workstation "CMOS/GPNV Checksum Bad" appears and dosent continue. also below this near are 2 options:

1. f1 to run setup

2. f2 to nouns default values and verbs

i have tryed pressing both f1 and f2 and zilch happens. i enjoy replaced the battery on my motherboard for the clock and i grasp the same message. any 1 no whats rong? please HELP!!

i enjoy also tryed using more than one keyboard but thats one and the same. both my keyboards work as i have tryed them on another gadget. also my keyboards DEL button is the only button specifically working with my domestic device, DEL restarts my pc. nought else works!!!!

my pc will be 3 years prehistoric christmas day.

spec:

amd 64 athlon 3400+

1024gb push

2x 200gb SATA hdd's

msi motherboard (forgot the full name)

nvidia geforce 5200 graphics

i want an upgrade but cant afford it lol.....

also... my motherboard detects both primary and secondary IDE's but dose not detect both my SATA Harddrives HELP!!!

Try resetting the CMOS BIOS using the hardware jersey on the mainboard.
